We just completely rebuilt the top end, it has new cylinders, pistons and seals carbs were cleaned etc.

heres the problems, sled is loading up really bad on low end, idles about 800 rpm and it seems as it the primary clutch is engaging way too soon

should be idleing alot higher. the one i had, the clutch kicked in at 3,200

As its not running right, make him an offer.

Then properly clean and adjust the carbs.
Could be time to give the clutches a little TLC as well.
