I have measurements for the edge tunnel. I think if you move your stock brackets to these locations it should work?!

At least give me credit for the edge swap dimensions picture. You can get that and the x10 on my site at http://www.jbshocks.com/tech.html

If you hit that link there is a link to edge and extra 10 swap. The dimensions work for any of the earlier chassis. I can't find my prox specs yet but if I ever do I will post those as well.

Just picked up an Xtra-10 to put in one of my 96 Indy Sports and saw this post. I was not too worried for I have an Xtra-10 in my XLT RMK so I have something to take some measurements off yet now I am wodering if there is a difference btwn the Xtra-10 in the XLT which has a 136" track and the Xtra-10 I bought for the Indy Sport is for a 121" track?

Anyone know if the measurements are the same?

Also I see how the diagrams have the mount holes pretty much in the "low snow" stock position with respect to snow clearance height.

Since I usually ride in deep snow I have all my sleds set up in the lowest suspension mounting holes as per the Polaris Owners Guide where it instructs you how to setup the sled for 'Deep Snow' usage.

Can anyone (hopefully jbshocks) comment on whether the Xtra-10 swap can be performed using the lowest mount point used for 'Deep Snow' operation? I cannot think of any specific reason why not myself yet maybe I am missing something?

Thx!

found this one on ebay will this be the same story? 1997 POLARIS XCR 600 SP REAR SUSPENSION XTRA 10. 4645304575 ebay number as far as mounting the extra 10 in my sled? It looks like from your description that no matter what i need to re-drill holes with any extra 10, is this correct? KOW

I did this exact upgrade last year. Well worth the time and effort. I put a skid out of a 2000 XC700 in a 95 XLT. What a difference!

its more than recharging. It should be rebuilt. I would suggest rebuilding both rear shocks so you give it a proper test the first time out. I do rebuild them if you need a place to have it done. www.jbshocks.com
