I really like that old TX 800, with all the old sponsor stickers also. It really gives you a feel for the old sleds.

What the hell is the deal with that apollo?

Figured you guys would love that. I was think of trying to describe them, but I saw so many sleds yesterday it's tough to remember what is what![:D] Very cool though this is the Low Buck Rider's annual vintage show it is normally a weekend before the end of January. Normally they have ice drags and stuff, but the ice a few weeks before was terrible so they were cancelled. This show is held on Lake Winnebago right out in front of Waverly Beach Tavern, who graciously donates their parking lot every year.

4-8" the areas that were covered in the small amount of snow we had are a little iffy yet, but we continue to stay below freezing so it will get better. They had many cars and trucks parked out there, of course on the north shore there really isn't much to worry about.

Wow, that IS cool stuff! Wish we had a vintage scene further out West. Second the request for info on the Apollo... talk about resto-mod.

I don't have much info on the Apollo, I didn't get to talk to him. He was very popular all day, for obvious reasons.

Nice pics Triple. Some pretty cool old sleds there.
I don't think i've seen a tunnel with more gloss than that 340 Doo and the RV245!

I'm really surprised no one mention the Polaris Star Car...

I believe there were less than 100 made and many were destroyed when Polaris recalled them.

Those pics really bring back the memories. Looks like a fun event. I don't remember Rupp having a little Kitty Kat sized sled for the little ones. But they must have because there it was.
