I went out to start my 91 Mach 1 and the cord is very hard to pull. If I do get the cord to pull, it is very slow to retract. The sled has sat all summer without being started. What should I do to massage this thing back to life?

Thanks

First off, pull the plugs and pour a few ounzes of 2 stroke oil in and pull it over slowly still without the plugs.

Pull the carbs off and clean them thoughly, this won't help it turn over easier, but if you didn't drain the carbs, there will be a nice varnish build-up going on.

Without the plugs in, it should turn over freely, if not, there is a problem, partial seizure, bad rings or berrings.
