i see everyone doing the marker thing again. when you do this make sure to put several lines on the primary and secondary. if you put just one line sometimes you can get a false reading.

safety. when letting go of the throttle from wide open pump it a couple times, this will cool off the pistons and also keep you from going into a lean spot.
just another 2 cents.

Please eloborate on the Majic Marker dealy?

I believe they are talking about taking a magic marker and marking several lines on the clutch sheave faces. From the shaft all the way to the top of the sheaves. Both pimary and secondary. Then take your sled out for a spin and open it all the way up for a good ways. When you stop, take a looks at the lines, as the belt rises in the primary, and falles in the secondary, it will wipe away the lines you just drew. This will tell you if your clutches are shifting all the way out or not.

Someone correct me here if I'm wrong.
