Finally found the camera, took some pictures last weekend of some random stuff I've done to the sled haha.

6" Powermadd Bar riser. Which on the IQs is essentially as high as you can go w/o extending or rerouting anything. It raised the bars just over 3", and I don't think I would want to go any higher, otherwise it would be uncomfortable for trail riding and obstruct view to the MFD. Just about the perfect height for standing though, I'm 6'3"ish.

Smoked Taillight, don't worry it's still very visible and bright.

Installed some underglow, bought each strip for literally $1 each, $2 to ship. I figure if I am going to put something underneath my running boards it better be something I don't mind losing. The front of them is tucked underneath the plastic and held on with 3M tape. Each one is 4 ft long and I have about an two inches left over that just barely connects too the bumper.

My piggy-back style HIDs. First pic is low beam, regular halogen. Second is high, and they aren't warmed up yet, so they get brighter and whiter. There is still a huge difference though. Can't wait to actually use them.

Not so sure about the underglow but the rest looks great! [thumb] You'll definitely appreciate the extra bit of rise.

I love HID's, I have them in my highs and lows in my truck with projector headlights and also projector foglights with them in them. They are brighter than stock, but the only problem I hate them on snowmobile because the glare from on coming snowmobiles at night suck. The sled looks great. How did you smoke the taillight?

Yeah I didn't think most people would like the underglow too much haha, but that's cool, I'm neutral on it anyway.

That's another reason why I went with the piggy-back style bulbs, that way when there is an on coming sled I can go back to the regular ones. The new low beams are actually less intense to oncoming sleds than stock with my set up. Because the low-beam bulb is just left of the focal point so it reflects the beam more to the right.

I had some left over Night-Shade spray, for tail lights. You can get it at like VIP or advance auto. I also sprayed a little clear-coat over it. The pictures would be better if the sled was outside it really cleans up the stock euro looking ones.

They list them for like $40 or something, but once you put in everything that you need its more like $75.

And good ol' ebay specials for the LEDs lol, I wanted something essentially disposable. There is a ton of different ones on there.

Really interested in knowing how you did that taillight, that looks awesome. I like the Riser and underglow too, handlebar setup is nice.

Rustoleum also makes a good spray tint, used it on my car and it looks great. Night Shades is just as good though. They are the same price too.

I think the ideal thing to do would be to take the lens off and paint the inside, could be kind of sketchy though.

ive always wanted to do some tinkering like that. pretty much what most kids do to their cars these days haha.

tail light is the coolest thing. otherwise that euro style stands out a bunch. didnt like that about my fuse a whole lot.

great looking machine to say the least!

oh and the headlights are a must, those stock shitty excuse for headlights they put in them are yellow and dont light stuff up as well as those will.

Nice job "Bames". I like the tail light and HID's. The under-glow is ok... I guess... But your sled, not mine!

I'm sure you will love your 6" riser over the stock size, I know I like my 5" (being 5'10") when I had my 2007 IQ 600 CFI.

did you just scuff up the lense, tape it and paint it?

No I just cleaned it with water, the best thing to do is the clean it and then wipe it with alcohol. Then taped all around it, and sprayed it with NightShade and some clear coat.
