"Recent weather, which includes warm temperatures and rain, thwarted our ability to put on the world-class event our fans and racers have come to expect," said PowerSports Entertainment, Inc. Executive Vice President of Operations Kent Lungstrom. "The snowmaking crew and track builders at the Otsego Club did all they could to pull this off, and they deserve a real pat on the back. Mother Nature just wasn't on our side."

"Rain and warm temperatures really sidelined our team's efforts, and we worked to the final hour to try to make this event a reality," said Kris Klay, General Manager of Otsego Club. "We apologize to our fans, but unfortunately, we can control everything but the weather."

This seems to be affecting alot more states not just here, so far! [V] from what I have seen pictures and riding reviews, etc the only ones that are doing well are Oregon, Washington, Utah, Montana, Sask. hopefully it will change quickly! and let the arctic air gets thru here instead of being blocked off. You have good years and you have bad years. We've had good winters here in Wiscosin for the past 5 years, so we are probably due for a brown winter.
