Well the good old 94 Safari seems to be loosing some of her track clips and im just wondering how important is it to replace if theres just one missing here and there. I dont have a tool, and dont really want to buy one since they are pretty expensive and the track will probably die soon anyways. What should i do? Also, my slidders seem to be wearing really fast, I loosened my track so that theres about 1/2-3/4 inch sag without weight, hows that sound?

I would think that one guide here or ther would be OK, but too many will result is premature slider wear and the possibility of sliding the track. Maybe it's time to replace the "soon-to-be bad track" now.

some of the newer sleds only have every other clip on....reduces rotating mass. Dunno if it helps much or not.
