I picked up a 93 or 94 polaris storm tunnel and am hoping that i can drop in my 98 xcr 600 triple into it? As far as I know the tunnels in these years were very similar if not the same? Am I correct in thinking this is a doable summer project?
it will fit, your best bet for pipes is a set of aftermarket pipes for an Ultra, since the 680 ultra in the wedge chassis is about the same as the XCR,both are based off the same bottom end. I dont think the XCR pipes will stuff into the storm wedge chassis. So if you stick to a game plan for a Polaris Ultra in the wedge chassis you should be able to do the swap easy. So an airbox for an ultra wedge chassis you will need too....ETC
Ok, good to know for sure. my pipes on the xcr are bent up pretty good so finding new ones would be a good idea anyway. im going to take as much stuff from the xcr and put into the old chassis because the xcr was in very good condition. Looking forward to a good spring project seeing ontario winter looks to be over!
