I recently bought a 97 mxz 670 and have been thinking about the idea of a clutch kit. I have done some reading on the different types of clutch kits and what everything does. However I am still confused because of the number of kits out there. I have never done clutching on a snowmobile but am an auto mechanic and have a family that lives on snowmobiling. I was wondering what kits are the best in your eyes? Also is this a bad idea that is going to alter reliability? I am looking only for trail riding and dont want any type of drag racing kit. I was looking at an EPI trail kit. Has anyone ever done this to this snowmobile? Will I have to change the sprocket at all?
