My Dad already wants a REV

Well I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get to ride a REV next year. My dad already says he's gettin a X 800 H.O. Now I don't even mind cuz I've seen them pretty close, and in real life they look pretty cool. Supposed to ride nicer than hell, but a ton different than a normal sled. But I'm lookin forward to it now.

My dad says he has to get one. He's bought a new sled every year since 98. He says "It's like a drug, once you get hooked, it's an expensive habit you can never get rid of." It's the truth too.

I may be young, but I ain't dumb!!!

When I first saw them, I couldn't stand the looks of them. But now......I don't know. They might be starting to grow on me. Need to see one in person.

Was it you that said they had seen them at one of the races? Anyways, yeah, I'm sure they do. Can't wait to see on in person myself!

Yea I saw them at that race I was at this weekend too. I'm startin to like the looks more and more and they do look a ton better in real life. I actually hate a lot of sleds when they are new, just because they look different. When the MX Z's in the ZX came out, I hated the looks, but come a few months, I loved em. Then when the Viper came out, I thought that was ugly, and now I like that. Then the Sno Pro went to it's new chassis, and I hated it too, but now I like it. Then when I saw this REV, I hated everything about it, now the only thing I still HATE is the short tunnel to snowflap. That looks horrible and I wish they just had the race tunnel. But give me a while and I bet I will love this thing too.

I've heard that the price would be "competitive with a regular MX Z". That probly means it will be a bit more. MX Z's are expensive sleds too. But I'm sure whatever it costs my dad will probly get it. He has a good job and makes good money, and the only reason why he is always broke is cuz of him buyin a new sled every year.

I haven't seen them up close and personal yet, but they look very cool in the pics; very sci-fi.

But does anyone else look at it and think how COLD you're going to get riding it? You're going to have air coming at you from all directions! Check out the windshield.

[navy]Even though this is a new "revolutionary" design for sleds, i don't think that i would ever want a sled that looks like that. I do like the Yami though. I just think the REV and the new MXZ are ugly[/navy]

Um the REV and the "new MX Z" are the same thing.

Also I wouldn't mind trying one but i don't think i could ride that thing in public. I am not a fan of their apperence.

I don't mind the look of the REV except I don';t like the tail flap like touching the ground, the narrow top to wide windshield and the small headlights. Or what look to be small. I bet it is a great riding sled though, ANd in the end functionality outweighs asthetics.
I didn't get that last post where you quoted me then didn't say anything else. Did I miss something there or what?

Ok first off, why post this question in this thread. And second, you just posted one of the most vague questions I have ever heard. Try again please.

I have seen the new REV and by the looks of them you had better hope nothin breaks. The hood is in 3 places and everything looks pretty packed in. They seem to go through the ruff good but then Morgan could make any sled look good on the track.
