Nothing like flying on a sled!!!!

Still Kicking!
what is with you XC 800 guys and flames?? I know a guy who has a 2002 XC 800 who stripped almost all the graphics off it. He put that flame head they make for Edges on it and ordered a set of flame stickers for it. We call him the flamer :) he has a chubby pipe on there that he used high temp paint and painted it silver. And he put the bars from a 2002 ZR on it. Oddly enough the polaris plastic cover for the bars fits right back over the new bars with only one tiny gap. ALl that so he could get those stock bent grips and bars that stood slightly straighter up.
I love my bars

don't you wish you could see how well they work? Everyone I know who has them loves them.
i'm not following sled dog- my sled has no flames on it whatsoever.

as for the new zr bars, i rode a friend's new 600, and decided i NEEDED them! that's why i have 2 45 degree hooks on it and 3" of riser- i still need to tilt the assembly forward to get the complete effect. it also has a holeshot skidplate (in pics), polaris running board grips and running board edge grips (which i now could not live without), a polaris windshield bag and a powermadd cargo caddy (awesome!)

all accesories (except the skidplate) were done in black. i guess i like the subtle look, and don't want it looking tacky in a few years.

I am just saying you call it your flame and that is what another guy I know who rides a XC 800 calls it OK?

I have a feeling you haven't met the right girl yet if you think your sled cost more ;)
Nice sled. I guess if you stayed on this side of the sign you aren't tresspassing...

yeah, it's a local golf course- by a fairly busy road, so we figured it was a good spot for a group shot. pic turned out much better than i though it would.

golf courses are good places to ride. First time I ever opened up my old XCR 600 SP was on a golf course. Back when the suspension was messed up and it liked to try and buck me over the hood. Believe me that isn't a good feeling at 80MPH.
I disagree that g.c.'s are good places to ride. i'm a golfer and it suckes to have snowmobile tracks all over the greens and fairways half the summer. plus if you spin your track at all it destroys the grass. seems like there's plenty of places to ride other than golf courses...
