I have a friend who went to the Air Force academy, flies F-16's in the reserves and is a pilot now for American Airlines. So you know the type of personality he has, very aggressive.

He bought his 1st snowmobile last year, a 1997 ZRT 600, and we went riding. On my property there is a small freestanding hill, maybe 40x40 feet and 10 feet high, very steep and we use it as a ramp. The only problem is that there is a small tree growing at the very top, and those of us who have been up it, know how to steer clear. 5 minutes into his first ride he watched me go over the hill. Being the type of person he is, he had to try and out-do me so he went up maybe a little too fast and, you guessed it, straight into the tree in the air. He went through the windshield and just missed hitting the tree. He wasn't injured, but unfortunately
we had to bury his sled. I asked him later if that was what it felt like to eject from a jet!

Anyways, insurance paid for his snowmobile, and his wife won't let him get another one.

Thought I would share that with you guys.

He who loves not his country can love nothing
