This is a very common problem with people on this forum. You are going to want to check your ignition system and your fuel lines. If they are gummy or lacking gas after high RPM warm-ups, flush them out. You will have to see a service dept. for the ignition if that is the problem.

Hey punkrock--does it run well for some time then start "puking", backfiring and dying only to not start for some time? Mine was the CDI unit which is located right on top the plastic of the airbox and has the spark plug wires attached to it. On mine-when it died I could wiggle that box and get the sled started again. That was a $200 part-so I hope for your sake- that isn't it--maybe that will give you something to try when it starts puking on you.

I fixed it. I went to a snowmobile shop and got new lines and filter. Starts like a charm. Now if we get some damn snow!
Sweet-doesn't it suck when your toys don't work?? You convince yourself (or your wife does) that you can't afford some trick new upgrades and then BAM-you end up finding the money to fix the broken stuff-never getting your upgrades. Glad you got yours fixed-praying for snow in Fargo too!!!
