I know some one posted detailed instructions on syncing carbs. I used the search thing but came up with nothing. I usually take my sled in for service but I am going to sell it this year so i figured i'd go through it myself. If anyone knows where i can get this info. I would appreciate it. thanx

Looked through the archives for you. Here are a few links.

Simply put you are trying to make all the carbs open at the same time, without making the cables so tight that they start out partially opened. I have used the drill bit method myself and it worked fine.

You just want to have them set so that when the choke lever is down, the plungers are completely seated in the carbs. Just be sure that they aren't seated with too much tension, you want to be sure they raise in the carbs when you pull up on the choke lever.

I know that sounds obvious, but that's all there is to it.

when choke lever is in the down position and you start to lift, you should have just a small amount of play. No play - no good.
