I have a 01 xc600sp that i am changeing the bearsing in some of the wheels. Now the 2 wheels on top of the suspension will not come off that splinded shaft. Am i missing something?

On the 99 XC there was a collar with as set screw/allen screw i had to loosen to get the upper idlers off.

http://parts.polarisind.com/Assemblies.asp then go under "Rear Torque Arm". Then it looks like bolt(#6) and nut(#2) then pull off hanger bracket(#11) hope that helps!

yup i pulled the bolt nut and the bracket off and its still not moving.

You may have to use a puller. Cat has about the same set-up and there gets a little rust between the bearing and shaft. Find a bolt that slips into the threads of the shaft, drill a small "cup" into the head and use that to put the puller point on so you don't damage threads.
