Hey
I was wondering if any of you guys know how i could get my helix off of my 94 safari. I need to change the buttons and it seems thats the only way to do it. The secondary clutch is mouted right on the chaincase and on the other side, there is the support rod for the cluth, with a bearing on the other side of the helix. Now it looks like ther is a pin, is that holding the helix onto the shaft? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

yah, i was looking at the picture, but im still not sure what to do.. Im guessing i will need some bearing pullers to get that bearing off, then somehow get that pin out. The helix seems to be covering the pin, so i hope the helix will move forward so the pin will come out....maybe someone has the actual shop manual for this sled? the only manual i was able to get was the bigger engine models, it helps but they all dont have a clutch set up like the safari.
