I just put some new sliders on two weeks ago and they are already done at the front and had to be replaced. Does anyone know why they are wearing out so fast? I was told the black ones are not as good, so I got some blue ones this time, but it must be something else too. There are two straps at the front where they are wearing out pre-maturely, so I adjusted them to bring the front of the track(suspension) as high as possible, and I also took some load off the front shock in the rear suspension thinking that will maybe take some force off the sliders, does anyone have any other ideas?

Track is probably too tight. These skids like to wear them in the front anyway.

The black are the same as the blue unless you specify HP or Graphite. I have had poor luck with graphites wearing quickly.

I have a 2001 SRX it has gone thru hyfax like crazy since the day it was new. I change them a couple times a season. I think it is just the nature of the beast. I have heard tightening the limiter straps as mentioned above will help but I have not tried it. Good Luck!
