just picked it up today it needs a little work i want to have it gone thru before i ride it, but i dont wanna get raped. the clutch was recently rebuilt. i was told it could be some kind of seal. it cant pull out of deep snow when starting out, but when i get up to 30-40 it wants to take off. any advice would help thanks.

The XCR 600 I have seems to make its power in the 6500+ range. I found that if you spend some time cleaning and setting up the carbs you can make them a lot easier to live with. In particular check the choke settings to make sure you have some free play in the cables (about 1/8" should be lots)
