If u are using welding rod and the muffler support is busted, that could be why it's leaking, because it's not being held together properly.

If that's not the problem, just get the ball and socket joints.

and fix all supports and put springs on there.

HiFly is right, put high temp silicone on there. U should use that stuff anyway.
