So I found a deal about a month ago on a 2006 IQr that had a 02 600 VES in it, well I finally got my sled sold and got to make the swap. Picked her up Saturday in the Minneapolis and got back to Marquette just in time for all the snow to melt[:(!] I basically pulled a Sledcrusher on this one. Sold my sled friday night in Duluth, bought my brothers 2004 Pro-Xr 600 from him, then went down to the cities on Saturday to trade the Pro-Xr 600 + cash for the IQr 600. Basically owned the Pro-Xr for less than 24 hours, thats got to be some sort of record. All said and done, including gas I got this sled for less then 3 grand. The only bad news is I can't ride it till next year.

Here is the list of goodies along with pics.

2006 IQr 440
2002 600 VES
Oil Injected
RR pipe
BMP silencer
8.8 gallon tank

Nice sled! Very legit set up. Not only can you beat the piss out of it, but it will be really reliable too!

Wow! What a good looking sled. And no, no record haha. The record for swap-to-swap is 65 minutes.

Or 2nd place [beatup].

If I didn't do as much trail riding as I do, I would own an IQ right now. I mean, I would still consider one if it's nice enough, but I can't really justify owning one. I know they're rugged, and can take a beating harder than any sled on the market, I can't stand sitting on one. I'm sure it will definitely be a step up from your yammi as well.

I still got the yami, can't seem to let that one go. I might be selling it this summer though because its too powerful and heavy for the fiance so I need to get her something smaller and more trail friendly. The only plans for this one over the summer are getting the shocks rebuilt and revalved and might be getting a 10.5 gallon tank but we'll have to see what the budget looks like

Good eye [thumb] We had a bunch of guys over to my brothers place and went smelting and had a bonfire along with those beers.

I have a buddy that might be looking for an 8.8 gallon tank so I might sell mine to him and get the 10.5 gallon tank. It would be so nice to not have to carry any extra fuel and still fit the tank under the stock seat

yeah that would be nice! I don't know what kind of mileage that 600 will get.. but from what i've heard with the 660 and the 8.8 tank i won't be getting anymore than 70 miles to a tank. haha

It was a couple things I guess. He needed some cash and he had previously owned a Pro-Xr and he really liked the chassis. In the end it worked out well for both of us
