hey guys, the dealer that i got my mxz 600 today at said to use only bombardier oil in it. ive personally never heard someone say this before, and ive always used Castrol, or Injex oil in my 99 Polaris 500 XC, so i was wondering if it was ok to run other oil other than bombardier in my mxz. i would think it wouldnt matter, but im not an expert, so if you guys know anything about it, i would appreciate it, thanks guys.

well my dealer told me the same thing when i bought my 2000 polaris Triumph. Personally i think its just a way for them to sell some oil, but i ran the polaris stuff at least until the warranty was up so if something did go wrong they couldnt say it was my fault for using the wrong oil. In my opinion as long as it meets the OEM oils quality then its fine.

I am sure it is quite all right to use the oil that you were using. Just make sure you have the right type for the sled. I am sure the dealer just wants you to buy the oil from him so he makes some money. Make sure you don't need synthetic oil.
