It seems that about 90% of the people on this board have enough snow to ride....but I, in northern freaking minnesota for gods sake, have about 1/2 inch of ice and nothing else.... Am I the only one left here who can't ride yet? I swear somebody must hate me or something.

Come to Fargo and we can move the Playstation into the garage, sit on our sleds and play SledStorm because that is the best thing we have here. By the way-I am a 5th grade teacher so I don't work from Dec. 21st to Jan 4th- Do you know how much that sucks? With no snow that is!!

Intended, it's cause you bought a new sled, that always happens when you get new stuff. I just bought a new sled a month or so ago, and we have 18 to 24 inches out in my back yard. Yes it's enough to ride but the average winter I would have close to 45 inches right now, so don't feel to bad.

You are not alone! Last December we had 35", this year 1". I'm on vacation and there's no snow, If someone else in my area was willing I'd take a 6 hour drive to the UP for 1 day of sledding.
Oh well, worked on the 800 today, cleaned the valves, put a different windshield on and a tank bag with map holder and side pockets(it's a really nice cat accessary).
By the way Intended did you ever find the green windshield? Cat sells a trick looking green chrome one.

Well I haven't had a chance to get to a dealer yet to find that windshield.....I have seen the Chrome ones before but I want the transparent one......

As for the snow it looks as though a large group of us are going to go to the UP this weekend to get some riding in.....just sucks that we have to drive so far.

On Thurs morning I had the sled out. There was a whole crap load of less than enough snow to cover a penny standing on end. What the hell, it's snow. Buffalo needs to share some of that snow with us, the green/brown ground is way too blah.

jb where in SE Wi are you.

Man, we keep getting these 1 to 2 inch snowfalls that blow into ditches, which means... New powder to hammer through every day!

This evening was awesome. My 440 flat out could do about 65 - 70 mph in this stuff, it was about a foot deep.

Fun!
