Ok....here it is. My dad just bought a new toy. 1969 camaro z28 rallye green! The enigne is some crazy @$$ race enigne that only uses 110 octane! He bought it for 5k off his girlfriends son! The car itself is in preety good consition. It needs a new paint job,but thats about it. there is a little surface rust, but not much. it will be a project(like everyother car we buy)...but in the long run it will be worth it. he plans to buy a stock 302 engine to replace the current 405 race eninge!

Man you guys are young! Chevy made the 302 from 1967 to 1969 and it was only in the Camaro Z-28 for these years. It was a little screamer. The sad thing is, I see more 69 Z-28's out there today than were probably made in 1969. Seems everybody who has a 69 Camaro throws on some Z-28 emblems and wham! Instant Z-28. I'm sure you Dad knows how to tell the real thing and if he's looking for an old 302, than I'm sure he has a real Z-28. Send us some pics if you can.

speaking of which i sat in a '72 Pontiac Lemans 400 the other day. The last year of the true muscle car. I started it up and ohhhhh what a sweet sound of the 400 V-8 revving and the exhaust exiting through 4 tailpipes...........
