Has anyone used Blackmagic performace parts on there sled?
They make a get this WhoopAss kit for my T-Cat. Consists of VForce 2, Pipes, & Clutching. Adds like 25HP should be pushing 200HP when done.
Any thoughts on the reliability of Blackmagic parts?

I would go with D&D over Black Magic. Black Magic is cool though. I ride with a bunch of D&D boys they don't think exceedinglly high of Black Magic. D&D treats them right. It is cool cause D&D is located like 30minutes from where we ride so they can zip over there when they want.

Yeah, I have a D&D Can on it now.
But the entire kit goes for around a grand.
Pretty tough to be price wise.
Although I talked with the tech at Wolf Pack Performance about there new reeds and they sound pretty nice and only $289 right now. Add D&D pipes for $625 and I would be set. Already have Cutler parts in the clutch. Might need heavier wieghts though. Any thoughts on this?

TCMC, on paper most of BMs parts look great and maybe they work great also. One thing you have to look at when adding pipes are the RPMs that they make the best power at. At BMs new web site their Dyno charts are not very easy to read. I think BMs pipes make their power at really high Rs, a sleds transmission system is about 90% efficient at 7500Rs and only about 80% Efficient at 8800Rs. I've spoken to the owner of BM, they seem like good people in fact I almost bought a Thunder Cat test sled from them last summer. But-------
I think D&Ds pipes make their power at lower Rs, meaning a higher % of your horses are reaching the snow. My local shop builds their fastest sleds with D&D parts, but they also sell BMs
As far as those Wolf Pack Reeds... from what I've been reading on another forum alot of their claims seem to be unjustified

a guy i know from my hometown owns 2 t-cats and has blackmagic mods on both of em. his new one, i think its a 99 or 00 not quite sure, puts out over 220hp! its the craziest most insane ride ever, he loves it. his "old" t-cat is a 97 i think and it wasn't fast enough either so he punched it to 1050.

I would agree with most of the comment's here that D+D seems to be the way to go. I have heard this from many different people and places. You seem to see alot more race sleds with D+D parts as well. They wouldn't use them if they sucked.
