I have an Artic Cat ZRT 600 that I am havin some prob's with. I need to know the clearance from the piston to the wall. And what the ring gap should be?? Need to know that my cylinders aren't worn out. Any help anyone? Or anywhere I can go to find out?? Thanks!!

if you haven't torn it down the easiest way is a compression test. it won't tell you if you have piston slap. but it will tell you if you have excessive blow by. piston clearance comes from the piston manufactrer, so do you have factory suzuki's? ring end gap also changes slightly with ring types but it is roughly .004 per inch of bore.

Doing that won't tell you if your cyl. is wore, unless your using new pistons and rings maybe to measure with.

i would measure the cyl. with a bore gauge,then check spec.,
call your dealer they should be able to tell ya.
