Go to this web site you can order trail maps, and other vital information at no cost. http://www.fcmq.qc.ca/public/htmen/0_1.htm
We planed and rode from N.H., to coaticook, to quebec, to berthierville, back to coaticook all on sled prepared off these maps. Very accurate compared to ME,NH,VT maps

Map on lac st. jean call 1 800 463 9651
map on chibougamau call 1 888 745 3969
map on maurice call 1 800 567 7603
map on quebec call 418 649 2608

All maps are free but you must call each one individualy.
there are plenty of fuel stations along the way much too many for me to list I count over 25 just around lac saint-jean. It will take a week for them to get to you. I hope this will help.

I have most of the maps the problem is there is no listing of gas from lac st jean to chibougamu on the main trail. It is over 150 miles between points and I have been told there is gas but I haven't been informed where.

you should be able to make 150 miles without refueling, bringing a reserve tank but you are right. Let me give a call to a friend of mine who has gone that way and see what he says. I think they have fueling / warming huts set up along the way friday - sunday may not be during the week. I will post back when I can confirm.
