I am having a problem with the lighting on my 91 RXL. I have lost all of the lighting. except for the headlight which is very dim. Now I have talked to a few people. Some people say it could be the magneto for the lighting. I checked the AC volt coming from it and it read 13 volts which is normal. The next thing people say is that it could be the lighting regulator. Or it possibly could be a ground... Some thoughts would be appreciated

Most likly could be the lighting regulator. It will cause lights to get too much voltage or they could just stop working at all. Did the other bulbs burn out or are they just not working?

to figure out if its the ground to your lights or not you could put a test light on your power wire and ground it to something you know is a good ground if it lights up then your ground is bad..

I have a friend who has the same sled, same problem. Where is the lighting regulator located anyways. I think its underneath the motor but I am not sure.

Thanks and good Luck
