Plug Color

Just put a new set of plugs in my sled last night, was wondering how long (distance or time) you need to run the sled before you know your getting an accurate check on the color of the plug. Thanks.

I go onto a trail ride tapped out for awhile, the just kill the engine, don't let it idle or anything, then take em out and look.
