I agree, slow down! On a crisp day I can crack 80 MPH no problem with nearly half throttle to go. On the lake that is fine but on the trail, that is dangerous! Those trees go by way to fast! Also, there is definitley something to be said for ride, power, and handling. My sled is a triple with Xtra-12 suspension. I also have a 340 Indy Lite with stock suspension. On the trail, you can really manuver easily with it since it is really lite a bit smaller but the 600 tripple is definitely more comfortable and powerfull.

I am considering buying a 550 Polaris but have heard that they are real dogs for top end.I am now riding a 98 xc 600 and realize that the 550 fan will not have as much power but I have more than i need now. Will the 550 do 90-95 mph with stock gearing?
I have a Polaris 550 Indy with studs and a ggb mountain can and I can hit between 87-90
