My questions deal with wether or not any one can confirm this and how do you in fact change the oil pump settings yourself. I was looking around n there and its tighter than, well... you know.

I have a 10 600 CFI but only put like 175 miles on it last year. What kind of correct oil consumption should I look for to make sure that its getting enough oil. I have read that the oil tank (holds 3.4 quarts or 54.4 oz.) should give you about two tank fulls. Therefore 1 tank, 11 gallons uses about 1 1/2 quarts or 27 oz. thats no where near a 50:1 ratios which is 16 oz per 5 gallons.

An input into this would be great. Just got back into 'biling last year with this machine and want to get it right.

Shouldn't it be closer to 40:1?

That two tankfulls is a rough estimate. I think what people mean by that is they fill up the oil tank every other time they fill the gas. That is what I do, but I certainly wouldn't derive an oil ratio from that practice. One fill might be 8 gallons, and the next might be 5. Far from scientific.
