Hello all!
I am new to this forum and wanted to say hello to everyone!

I have a 2000 Polaris Indy Classic 500 that is liquid cooled. I have had it out several times this season so far without so much as a hiccup. However earlier today, after having run it once already around the yard, I started the machine and it just didn't sound right at idle. There is this annoying little 'popping' noise mixed in with the sound of the engine idling. It isn't loud like a backfire or anything like that, and it doesn't seem to impact performance at all as far as I can tell. The sled fires right up and idles fine (other than this new noise). It also seems to run fine with the noise disappearing when throttle is used (either it disappears or I just can't hear it over the sound of the motor). The only thing I have done to it today was to fill the tank completely for the first time this season.

Any thoughts on what this might be? It's annoying as heck because it really doesn't sound right at idle. I'm hoping it's nothing... Thanks!
