hi all...graet site here with tons of info...i have a 96 600 xlt that runs like a dream with 4800 miles...im kina concerned about the pto bearing. does anyone know where i can get that external oil line kit...or should i just ream out that oil passage...im pretty good at mechanical things so i thing i could do it myself if anyone has any tips on how it should be done . ive got about 3 weeeks or so before i can ride up here in northern maine...any help would be appreciated...thanks...dale

If you already have 4800 miles on the sled I wouldn't be too concerned most of them with the pto problem went between 1000-2000 miles on the sleds

thats very reassureing....but i would really like to fix the problem before it becomes a serious issue

Mine was reamed out with a dremel, we tried to drill it, but didn't get far. Even with the dremel I don't think we could get all the way through the hole though.
