Just wondering if anyone has some opinions as to whether a 3 into 1 pipe system is as good performance wise as 3 separate pipes exiting on there own.I like the idea of the 3 into 1 using the stock hole in the pan but don,t mind a bit of extra work if its going to result in more HP gains.

If you run all 3 cylinders into one pipe inlet, that will cripple the engine.

If you run all 3 pipe outlets into one collector, it will not make any difference.

silencers have the potential to make more power vs a can. but for a trail sled or a sled that you are going to ride more than a 1/4 mile at a time the can is better.

triple pipes are worlds ahead of a 3 into 1 pipe. keep in mind there will be additional jetting and clutching adjustments that need to be made to take advantage of the new higher peak power.
