Okay. Well i just received my polaris wide roller spider rebuild kit. I am slightly upset. I look at the kit and think, hey this can't cost more then 30 dollars to produce. How the **** are they charging me 96 dollers for the kit. makes NO sense. Just had to vent.

Those little plastic buttons wear like iron. That is where most of the money is. Look how much a used clutch sells for.

yes, it is pretty sad, handful of little parts for 100 bucks.

check w/ hiperf.com, they have about the best prices on clutch kits and lots of information on clutches, good web site.

This is not a clutch kit...It is a rebuild kit and for the most part they are the same price.

A lot of it depends on where you buy it. High Performance Engeneering sell the sam kit for like $60.00 without any bushings. The prices are pretty crazy. Shims $7.00, buttons $22.00 It's an important part they can ask the price and people will pay it. When I do a rebuild for people I usually figure what is needs and if it doesn't need rollers I don't get a complete rebuild kit. Riley
