Polaris 500 1997 starts but floods out as soon as started on the same cylinder every time. One cylinder always stays good other floods. What to do?

As said above. Clean, those carbs and re-set the needles. BE VERY CAREFULL NOT TO BEND THE NEEDLE!

I will try cleaning the carbs on Sunday. I have to work Saturday. I was wondering what part of the carb makes it flood and also is there a step by step somewhere on the web to show me how?

Just wanted to say thank you guys. I couldn't wait until Sunday to clean the carbs. Took them apart and cleaned. Had a hard time getting one of the choke plungers out it was stuck in the carb that was giving me trouble. But now machine runs good. Doesn't flood. Thanks again....Dale[:)][:)][:)][:D][:D][8D]
