I bought stainless stell guillotines for my 800 VES. Should I have gotten titanium? I understand they are lighter - does this run better? Are they more durable?

Thanks.

I dont think Polaris is making the Ti valves any longer. Why? I dont know, but this is what I heard from several dealers. Yes the Ti valves are lighter and have a higher melting point than the stainless valves. You can also use the stock springs with the Ti valves. The stainless valves, as you know, come with new springs to compensate for the additional weight. The stainless valve should work just fine though. The reason for the melting of the original valves is because of no coolant passage by the exhaust valves/port due to the larger diameter of the 800 piston vs. the 700.
