pre-wired?

Does anyone know if my 2001 ZR800 is pre-wired for an electric face shield? I ran with a 2002 MXZ Saturday and the guy bought a connector kit from Ski-Doo. He drilled a 1/4" hole in the dash and mounted the connector. It looked really nice and clean. He said his came with a connector that went to a lead on the sled. No splicing of wires.

Thanks.

Also, if so... where could I get a connector for my Cat? Can I use the Ski-Doo one?

From previous questioning. Arctic Cat has a connector kit available for purchase. I know I didn't have to splice for my friends Cat and my Polaris doesn't need a splice either. It has a plug-in under the hood just waiting for those add-ons.

All you have to do is get the quick connect kit from your Cat dealer that just plugs into a quick connect under the steering column on top of your gas tank. Takes only a few minutes to do this. I did this on my '02 ZL 800 ss and my wife's '98 ZR 600. THINK SNOW!!!!

There should be a plug under the hood by the headlight "brown and yellow wires" brown is ground you can get the plug at a car parts place it's cheaper $1.00
