I ordered new 8 thooth drivers. My question goes like this:
Is it normal that the replacement drivers are almost 3/16 smaller that the hex part of the shaft? The new ones have metal clips around them while the old ones don't.
Do you have to heat them up a bit? What is the general size difference when pressing new drivers?
I'm about to go to the machine shop to have them pressed but since the shaft is made of aluminium I have the fear the driveshaft will bent.
