I had the 440 fan when i was younger. It was a great sled. the handling was incredible. The power was actually pretty good. BUT like the other guys have said already, the jetting is extremely sensitive, and i blew my motor when it was maybe 20 some degrees.
If you are insistant on getting a 440 fan, get the Fuji 440 fanner, like a mid 1990s sport, or older indy Trail. Those are indestructable. Stay away from the Liberty fans (550 and 440). Like everyone else has said, nothing but bad news from the 440 Liberty fan, and I believe the 440 liquid (Liberty Pro-X) are only marginally better.
