Just started to get the sleds ready for winter and ran into a huge problem. In our 1997 arctic cat zr440 wehave very little compression in the left cylinder head. Took the head of to discover I have a hole in the piston with some minor scaring on the cylinder wall. Does any one know exactly how to replace this and also where can I pickup the parts for a reasonable price? Thanks any help would be great.

some of my best buys have been on ebay. look for a shop manual for your sled, and if you cant find the parts there, check with dennis kirk or high performance engineering. I you are looking for used parts, you might try als snowmobiles in vermont, they have a huge selection. lol
