So I stripped down my sled completely to powdercoat the chassis and the time for reassembly is approaching fast. I need to put in all new coolant in my system and once I have the sled fully assembled, start it and purge it. What is the best way to do this after a total rebuild? Anything else I should bleed or purge for the first start up? Thanks.

P.S. I read old threads about purging coolant but want to hear if there are any other ideas.

On my sled I filled the coolant tank until it was full, then ran it on a stand(just idling), filled it up, then repeated the process until it was full.

Thats what i do also. pour cooling into the sled until its "full" the start the sled. the waterpump will start to circulate coolent and you just keep adding until the coolent level stays stable and you dont see any airbubbles.
