How do you get your pics to show up on your posts?

wave your hands around a lot then jump up and down then find a place to host them then dance in a circle(preferablly the fox trot) for about an hour then type {img}then the link to the pic then {/img} and that is it. Except replace the {}s with [] and maybe i liked it better when I was the only one with the Viper avitar :)

Here's maybe a little less sarcastic answer. Intendedacceleration posted in another topic in MY SLED forum. No offence Sled_dog. I preferred your answer personally.

Well first you need to get your picture file hosted somewhere....most internet service providers give you a small amount of web space to do this.....If you don't have this availible, you can send the picture to erick, or polaris-man and they will host it for you. After they have uploaded the picture they will tell you what the address of it is.

For an example I will use one of my pictures....

http://www.lakenet.com/~jomama/pictures/Snowmobiles/zr800avitar.JPG

that is the address of the picture.....notice how it automatically makes it a link that you can click on.

Now if you want that picture to show up all you do is enclose the address of the picture in {img}http://www.lakenet.com/~jomama/pictures/Snowmobiles/zr800avitar.JPG{/img}
only replace the { and } with [ and ]

see when I do that.....

like magic the image appears!!! Any questions? If you are confused by this, you can just send me the pic and I will post it for you! [email protected]

Sled_Dog, that was quite an orginal way to post. I tried it and nothing happened. Well, not exactly nothing. My kids left the room shaking their heads and my wife told me I looked stupid. Really though, I think it is great to have fun with the forums also. Thats part of the reason we come here and post. To get a laugh, a tip or just talk to someone who loves sledding as much as the next guy (or girl) :eek:)
