Who has the best prices on EPI Clutch kits? Is there another company out there that makes a better clutch kit for a 2000 Polaris XC SP 500? I don't really know much about clutching so I would like to just buy a complete kit and have my dealer install it.

Do you prefer Boyesen or Vforce reeds? I've heard some good and bad things about Vforce, but not much about Boyesen. Is the gain in power even worth the $200?

Also, I've heard that these particular sleds came jetted a little rich from the factory. Has anybody else heard of this? Should I jet down from 420's to 400's? It seemed to run pretty good last season, but I guess it did bog a little when I really got on the throttle.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Buy it from epi direct. That way you can talk to a tech and tell them exactly what you want. Prices are pretty much the same across the board for a kit.

Both set of reeds are good. I have had better durability with v-force than boyensen. The gains are about the same. Mostly throttle responce.

On almost all sleds you can safely jet down 1 size.

I haven't had much expereince with the 500 xc mod wise so I really don't know.
