I use amsoil chaincase oil but have used polaris chaincase oil.

I have not seen a great difference in chaincase oils. Use what is cheap as most people change their oil every year.

80-90 should work fine. I like to stick with OEM myslef, but alot of companies make good oil. The only problem I could see with grease is that it has a tendancy to be sticky, and once it flies off the grears and chain it will stay off. It really won't matter how much grease you pack in it, once the chain and gears make their path in the grease it won't ever go back on.

I,m not sayin it won't work, just may not be the best. When I bought my last sled it had hardly any oil in it and what was in it looked like mud, but the chain and gears were fine. They are pretty tough.
