I reciently took apart and cleaned my carb, replaced the fuel pump, and took the heads off my cyl's so I could whipe the carbon deposits off my cyl walls and rplace the head gaskets on my 1980 YAMAHA ENTICER 340D. No when I try to start it, it shoots gas out of where my exhaust manifold bolts on to my engine? Is this because I am stupid and didn't use a torque rench to tighten my head back on? what should i do? There is snow everywhere and I can't get the darn thing running...

Is it possible you have the lines on the fuel pump mixed up? There is a single vacuum line that connects to the fuel pump from the crankcase and the other two are fuel.

No my fuel pump and fuel lines are hooked up correctly, I am going to see if getting the correct torque on my ehads fixes the problem, and then I'll get back to you
