I have been aware of Redline snowmobiles for about 2-3 years now, i have yet to actually see one. Why dont they put them out on the race track so people can see them andmaybe buy them? they look like a pretty sweet sled that sounds pretty light and powerful w/ awsome suspension underneath, yet it seems like noone has one. Anyone on here own a redline? HOw bout a new Scorpian? i have heard of and seen both of these on the interent, but havent seen much of them in real life, i guess i saw a new scorpian for sale in the automarket the other day...but not much of anything....they need to get em out on the race track to show em off..

scorpion went bellyup, and redline hasn't produced any sleds for consumer sale yet.

When in doubt- Throttle out!

HayDays grass drags event had them all there and on display. I seen somebody revving the Scorpion, sounded powerful, but i'd never buy one. I thought Redline was for sale to the public already, but maybe i am wrong.

Let 'er rip!
like xc said Scorpion went belly up. They are gone now. As for Redline they have just been getting their ducks in a row and making sure they don't go Bankrupt in their first year or something.
back a couple years ago i remember lookin at em online and said they would be available for the consumer the following year, i dont know...just another brand we would have to choose from when we buy a new sled...

you mean another sled that costs way too much for the average sledder?
ya...one of those sleds for the rich guys...now that i think bout it....the prices were pretty high up there, but a couple eyars ago when noone had a good 4stroke that was light, didnt sound that bad, Redline does have a couple 4strokes dont they? they got some pretty good sized 2strokes twins too....im kinda waiting for em to come out to see how they really perofrm

yes they had a performance 4 strokes a years before the RX-1. http://www.redlinesnowmobiles.com/ there is their site if you want to look at the sleds.
ya...after i posted that i went and checked it out, is that 800 they have a 4stroke or 2 stroke? there power doesnt sound so great anymore after the friecats came out

One reason you wont see one on the track is because they are to light to get in. The min is 400 pounds this year and I think they come in at 350 or so.

I'm sure everyone here could guess what I think of Redline sleds.

Let me guess. You hate them. You don;t like the 4-stokes in them. You don't like the design, etc... I have yet to see a redline in person as well. It would be very interesting to ride one however.

Yes, too well. I know too much about you and stuff for just having met each other only once and talking on the internet for about a year. hehe

I like the way they look from the front and back but not the side. That is about it. You have to admit though the suspension is pretty special.

They look nice I think, I am just wondering what kind of speed you can get out of them with such a great track angle, and how reliable the whole rear suspention will be. Seems kinda weak if you ask me.

I talked to a Redline dealer this fall. He said they were going to build and deliver the sleds that were ordered for the previous year this year. You can't get one until next year ('03). Whether they were actually delivered, I don't know.

I want to ride every day, all day, as fast as I can.
that is what I want spend that much on a sled and not get it for over a year.
I'll be sticking to Polaris for awhile anyway.

Maybe one of these weirdo companies will come out with something I like. Maybe...

I am not really sure what to think of the Redlines.......I do like the suspension, but I have to admit I really don't know much about the sled. As far as appearance goes, It really just doesn't do it for me, I don't care for it. It's too.......too....I don't know.
