I am thinking of putting a 144 on my 98 xc 600. I blew the motor on my 98 rmk and I like its track way better than the 121 on the xc. the rmk was a 700 but I was thinking I could use the gears from the rmk and swap the skid(I have been getting ideas on this swap in the Polaris forum). I know I might need clutch work but I am just trying to get things planned out and prioritized for my limited fundage.

I have a SLP clutch kit kit in my 98xc600, when I put in the 136x1.75 I geared down 2 teeth and sled works perfect. You can always go by the 02rmk gearing, they have the ves600 but it gives u a starting point cuz they had a 144x2" option. Try going to www.partsland.com they have complete breakdown of sleds from like 1995 and up. U can see the gearing etc
