Removing Windshield

I have a Arctic cat powder special, I doubt it makes a difference though....but i was wondering how hard is it to remove the windshield? I am guessing its a snap...but dont have my machine with me right now to take a look.... I am planning on trying a heel clicker on my machine this spring break and thought since it would be my first and I want to practice it, to take my windshield off as it might get in the way of my feet. Thanks guys.....

On Polaris's removing the windshield is just a matter of pulling off rubber o rings and turning a few screws. When your doing a heelclicker your feet probly won't hit the windshield, on my sled i have a high windshield and my feet don't even come near it.

a baseball bat would be quicker ;)

When in doubt- Throttle out!

hey, I have did heal clickers, ryan has a good point that he had a high windsheild but it also depends on how high your handle bars are if you have a riser block or not. Also ride over the jump a few times and do some no footers first then when you feel ready go for it
Ya 700GUY's got the right idea going. Hit it a few times and get a good feel for the jump, then when your ready hit the jump and right as your coming off the jump, bring your legs up and around your arms, it may take a few times to actually get em all the way together, but when you do, land it and let the ladies flock to ya. ;)

Sounds great guys. I don't have any blockers for my handle bars to raise them unfortunatly, I would like to maybe get them sometime. How much are they and what are all the benefits of them? And thanks for the tips everyone! I will let ya know how my attempt at a heel clicker goes!..........I have a snowmobile webpage up that I am just starting on if anyone wants to check it out, i have a couple pics up too, if anyone has there own pics, that would be great for you to send them in! Thanks everyone....

Here's my page....not too much yet but it will grow.

hey venom, riser blocks vary in price depends on how high of ones you want (inch, 2 inch, 3 inch) i have 2 inch and i giot then through wahl brother racing for 15 dollars. Risor blocks are desighned for the rider who likes to stand up and ride thats why most of the sno-x's have them
Thanks guys for the comments on my page! I do need a better host than geocities, it sucks and I am close to my limit on webspace. Soon I hope to have a .com like I used to but didn't have the money so had to go back down to geocities.
About the movie I am making, I will have a preview done before the weekend is over so if everyone is interested I will post a link to it and you all can check it out! I am really excited about this, it's going to be awesome!!

Venom, i don't even have a raiser for my bars and i'm doing fine, wouldnt hurt to have em up a few more inches though.

i have a 3" riser on my sled, and wouldn't ever settle for anything less. i really wouldn't mind another 1-2 inches, but my brake line and all the wires in there probably aren't long enough. not to mention that my cover barely fits now!

There's no stopping Arctic Cat........ REALLY!!
