i have a 93 580xltspsks. Went through the top end this year(no prob. just wanted to spend money!)new slugs,a little hone,... nothing special. new track, chain/bearings,etc$$$etc$$$etc$$$. anywho, i did not repack the pipes, however. it starts and runs fine(.5mi.on the od so far)sounds real good mabey a bit loud but all the right pings and pops are there. my question is, will repacking the silencers now make a difference in how the motor preforms/breaks-in vs. just leaving them on as/is? there are approx. 1800mi. on these perticular set of PSI trailblaster pipes. (now,i know how some feel about PSI, hell i went to their going out of bus. auction in MN.(lots of junk!)but these really work with my set-up, so i like 'em) we have enough snow and I WANT TO GO!!! thanx!
